Mallory’s abandoned vehicle was found by a local deputy on December 1 at Ormond Beach in Volusia County. The next day, his wallet and personal papers were found scattered nearby, along with several condoms and a half-empty bottle of vodka. Walter Jeno Antonio aged 62 was found half naked and dead on November 19 1990 near a remote logging road in Dixie County. He had been shot four times. His car was found in Brevard County five days later.

On December 6th 1990 Wuornos pawned Richard Mallorys camera and radar detector in Daytona. Unbeknown to her she also left behind evidence of a thumb print identical to that of Lori Grody (One of her many aliases) The next day, in Volusia County, Green (Another of her aliases) pawned Walter Antonios ring, which was later identified by his fiancee and the jeweler who sized it. With mug shots and a list of names in hand, it was a relatively a simple task to trace it back to Aileen Wuornos, but her arrest was delayed for another month because she could not be found.

On January 9th 1991 Wuornos was arrested at a biker bar in Harbor Oaks, She was detained on outstanding warrants for Lori Grody (one of her 5 alias names used). A day later Tyria Moore an alleged accomplice was traced to her sisters home in Pennsylvania, where she agreed to help police build a murder case against Wuornos. Back in Florida, detectives arranged a series of telephone conversations between Moore and Wuornos, In the phone conversations Tyria begged Aileen to confess so she could be free from prosecution as an accomplice. One of conversations led police to a storage warehouse that Aileen had rented, the search found tools stolen from David Spears, the nightstick taken from Walter Antonio and another camera and electric razor belonging to Richard Mallory.

January 16th 1991: Wuornos confesses to one of the murders, saying it was self-defense.

During her trial, she claims that she was an innocent and helpless woman, convicted of crimes she did not commit. She claims that the men she  killed had taken advantage of her and tried to rape her, she had no choice but to act in self defense and kill them. As her interviews continue over the next two years, her story began to unravel. She even had the nerve to apologize to the victims’ families and claims that killing them was simply to steal their money and cars.

At times her stories contradicted each other. While on camera she would say one thing and when she thought the camera was off she would say something completely different. On camera, she said she killed the men because that is what the public wanted and saying sorry was what they wanted to hear. She also claims that she changed her story, only because she felt the pressure from the public and the police. Off camera, she claims her innocence. She believed that the police let her kill even though they knew she was responsible.

Sentenced To Death
They did this to me, she says, so I would become a female serial killer, letting them earn money on a movie and book deals. She feels her story is one of system failure, corruption and she wants to die as soon as possible.
During her last interview, she looks directly at the camera, stating “you need to kill Aileen Wuornos, because she will kill again”. “There is no point in sparing me, it’s a waste of taxpayers’ money.”  Shes was indeed a very sick and evil woman who blatantly just killed men for financial gain.

It annoys me that Tyrian Banks was never held accountable for anything. I believe she knew a lot of what was going on.
